Voucher readiness checklist
These are conservative study criteria chosen for this pack, not Google's passing score or a validated prediction of passing. Google reports pass/fail and does not publish a numerical score to successful candidates. Google's FAQ.
Knowledge and reasoning
- [ ] I have reviewed every objective in the current official guide and the coverage map.
- [ ] I can explain service choices and limitations without relying on trigger words or answer letters.
- [ ] I can explain why each rejected option fails a stated requirement.
- [ ] I can calculate request budgets, time-based downtime budgets, budget remaining and burn rates with correct units.
- [ ] I recognize when the question lacks enough evidence for a claimed root cause.
- [ ] I have revisited guessed correct answers, not only marked mistakes.
Practical evidence
- [ ] I have used actual GCP projects/IAM, with the account or sandbox I am authorized to use.
- [ ] I have built and stored an artifact, deployed it and restored a previous compatible version.
- [ ] I have configured a secret consumer without putting the value in source or logs.
- [ ] I have inspected Kubernetes logs/events/probes and diagnosed a failed workload.
- [ ] I have created/queryed telemetry and tested an alert notification end to end.
- [ ] I have explained scaling limits and dependency bottlenecks using load-test observations.
- [ ] I have reviewed a Terraform plan and understood state/permissions.
- [ ] I have completed a small incident exercise and verified a corrective action.
- [ ] I have identified and cleaned up my lab's billable resources.
Practice evidence
- [ ] Mock A and Mock B were taken without notes, within 120 minutes and before seeing their answers.
- [ ] My personal target is at least 90% overall on both first attempts and at least 80% within each domain.
- [ ] I recognize that the 7-question cost section is a noisy estimate; one answer changes its score substantially.
- [ ] I can teach back all missed/guessed concepts and have repaired them in exercises.
- [ ] I have used the official sample questions for format familiarity. Those samples and these mocks are not proof of exam readiness by themselves.
If you miss these targets, use the domain report to choose remediation. A retake after memorization cannot replace the original evidence; use fresh scenarios and practical diagnosis. Even meeting every target is not a guarantee. These mock questions have not been psychometrically calibrated against Google's exam.
Booking and exam-day logistics
- [ ] I verified voucher expiry, booking/redemption conditions and applicable rescheduling rules in the current official booking flow.
- [ ] My registration name matches the identification requirements.
- [ ] I checked the chosen testing method's current system/location requirements.
- [ ] I left time for remediation and logistics rather than assuming the last possible day will work.
- [ ] I rechecked the official exam guide near booking, especially because my study period extends into 2027.
Pacing suggestion for 60 questions: about 90 minutes for the first pass, 25 for review and 5 for completeness. Mark uncertain questions and return. Select exactly the requested number for multi-select. Use practice results to plan, not to pressure yourself into using the voucher before you are ready.
